Filming the astonishing BAC Mono supercar through the mountains and valleys of Snowdon, North Wales.
BAC Mono and Oliver ‘Oli’ Webb, travel through some the most spectacular and challenging roads of the Snowdonia Range in North Wales and Are in Sweden. We filmed Oli in this unique car as he drove along some of the fastest and most spectacular landscapes of Wales. As the roads cut through the majestic Snowdonia mountain passes, their endless twist and turns proved to be an exhilarating experience, and the ultimate head turner in the small villages dotted throughout North Wales. Then on to a frozen landscape in the heart of Sweden to test the car at its limits.
In the capable hands of Oli Webb, European Le Mans Champion 2014 and Dubai24 Champion 2015, the genius of the Mono’s chassis become truly apparent. The Mono is the world’s only single-seater road car: a no-roof, no-windscreen, powered by a 280bhp 2.3-litre Cosworth engine from Cheshire based Briggs Automotive Company. It sounds and accelerates from 0-60mph in 2.8sec in a way that most drivers could only even dream about.
